A New Hat for Inwoods

Today, I want to write about Inwoods: the only school I ever went to and the place that my parents helped develop (my mum is the head teacher).

Yesterday, we had a work party. My friend’s dad, Steve Mybourgh brought a roof for the old hollowed-oak tree trunk next to the straw bale classroom. Steve is a metal artist and he specialises in copper garden swings (Click here to go to his website: myburghdesigns). It was nice to see the finished roof. I had helped collect the metal which had been left to decay in a wood near his workshop. The roof has a nice copper hat with a weathervane.
